By early 2024, 2degrees had established itself as a major consumer telco, holding a third of the market and matching competitors on network and service. Yet in the business segment, 2degrees wasn’t meeting its potential. Many key decision-makers still viewed 2degrees as a company that was not suitable for the demands of larger enterprises. Business leaders were worried about the scale and network capability 2degrees offered along with whether they could be trusted to ensure decent connectivity year-round. These outdated perceptions were holding back growth, despite 2degrees being fully capable of competing head-to-head with the telco duopoly.
Our insight: existing business customers already knew 2degrees could deliver, but potential clients didn’t. To close this perception gap, we treated 2degrees like a major listed company – unveiling full-year financials for the first time. This included audited figures, comprehensive fact sheets, CEO talking points, and multiple one-on-one media briefings with leading business journalists. By turning internal knowledge into public proof, we made it clear to business leaders that 2degrees has the scale, capability, and experience to deliver for large enterprises.
