Challenge:

A group of New Zealand’s most successful media agency professionals developed an innovative business capable of changing the way business owners purchase outdoor advertising placements. This was the rare idea with the potential to have a prolific impact across small to medium-sized businesses, looking for ways to reach their customers. The challenge was getting as many of those businesses  as possible to understand what was being offered.  

Solution:

One Plus One helped Youdooh carefully frame their launch narrative, which was placed with the country’s most influential media writer, the Herald’s Shayne Currie. After this initial teaser, we took the story wider, placing a follow-up piece with the small-business team at Stuff.


This article offered a more in-depth view of the organisation and directly led to a 30% uptick in sign-ups off a single piece of coverage. But we didn’t stop there. We then placed the story across all the leading trade titles read by marketing professionals across the country. No matter where you looked, you could see coverage of Youdooh in the media.

Beyond media outputs, One Plus One has facilitated a series of meetings between Youdooh and industry bodies including the Newmarket Business Association, The Franchise Association of New Zealand, Retail New Zealand and more.
