As the industry continues to shift across search, media and global markets, Kelly explains why local nuance and trust are crucial, as well as why firms that earn attention through podcasts, conferences, and consistent thought leadership will continue to pull ahead.
Beyond strategy and trends, Kelly also emphasises the importance of people in business. Finding the right person, he says, can be the “third leg on the stool”, and provide the balance and stability that transforms a firm. For him, one of the most significant turning points in his career came when the phrase “I think” evolved into “we think.”
